As you know, it’s been a pretty wild year. Whew! We have had our share of challenges in 2008 with the greatest financial crisis in our nation’s history and a new President about to take on HUGE responsibilities. While we try to remain calm in a positive way, there is HOPE for 2009, and it’s right around the corner.

All things considered, we are fortunate to be in the reverse mortgage industry. For most of us, business has been stable and growing. It may not have grown as anticipated, but at least we haven’t seen significant declines in volume. We must look back at 2008 and appreciate what we have.

Thank you to all the authors who have shared their thoughts and experiences with our audience. It has been nine months of growing in this intimate, boutique space of reverse mortgages and we can only imagine what 2009 will bring for content. We appreciate each and everyone’s support in helping us communicate your messages through this publication.

At the end of this roller coaster year, our message is simple: The best holiday gift we can imagine is a contribution to the less fortunate, regardless of the organization you choose to support, give thoughtfully and gemannerously. From all of us at The Reverse Review, we wish you a happy and prosperous 2009.
